Subject: FDR for NCSX mod coil type C

 

Folks

 

We would like to hold the FDR for the NCSX modular coil type C assembly this Thursday, June 30, at 1:30.  The particulars are listed below.

 

Charge:

 

1.      Is the design of the Type C coil complete? 

2.      Are the drawings and specifications required to support Type C procurements complete and ready to be signed pending resolution of chits?

3.      Is the schedule for completing remaining design documentation achievable and consistent with project need dates?

 

The design of the Type C modular coil is defined by the Type C assembly.  We have conducted FDRs already for the following procurement/fabrication packages:

 

1.      MCWF (5/19/04) 

2.      Type C cladding (4/27/05) 

3.      Type C upper and lower lead blocks (6/3/05) 

 

This FDR will provide a review of the balance of the lead block design, chill plates, production clamps, and winding assembly.
