Charge 1. Does the heater tape and thermocouple selection and placement meet all performance requirements?

2. Do the heater tapes and thermocouples satisfy envelope, requirements?  Are they compatible wit the cooling tubes, magnetic loops, mounting hardware, insulation, etc? Can they be readily installed.

3. Have potential failure modes been adequately addressed in the design?

4. Is the design documentation required to procure, fabricate, and install the parts adequate?

Summary of Results

Goranson presented the status of the heater tape design. There were seven chits generated and dispositioned at the review.  The heater tape and thermocouple selection and placement meet the performance requirements.  The heater tapes and thermocouples satisfy envelope requirements and are compatible with the cooling tubes, magnetic loops, mounting hardware, insulation.  The design documentation required to procure, fabricate, and install the parts was adequate.  The chits identified some issues with interface details with the cryostat feed-thrus, power supply requirements, MTBF, protection for the heaters and TC during installation, and a question of radiation resistance of the heaters.  This review was considered successful pending resolution of the chits.
