A Final Design Review was held for the Field Period Assembly Station 2 Tooling.  Ten chits were submitted.  The review was judged successful pending resolution of chits.  The charge to the review committee and our response is shown below:

 

The charge is:

•          Does the tooling fixture provide adequate support and adjustability to perform the MCHP assembly?  Yes but lateral stability was identified as a concern.

•          Are the drawings complete and ready for sign-off? The drawings need to be updated based on input received at this design review.

•          Has the analysis been documented and checked?  The analysis was documented but still needs checking.

•          Is the fixture cost and procurement schedule consistent with the program schedule and budgets? Budgets need to be developed for tooling not covered in this design review such as lifting fixtures and tools for reaming holes.
