Folks,

 

We will hold the peer review for the modular coil winding dimensional control plan at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 13. Please plan to attend. At PPPL, we will meet in the engineering conference room. Off-site: please call into 866-718-9081 and use passcode 706670. We will share the presentation via Netmeeting. I will also send out a copy ahead of time.

 

The charge is:

 

1.       Is the overall structure of the plan adequate to ensure good dimensional control of the coil windings?

2.       Is a trial winding needed in order to achieve good dimensional control? If so, is a trail winding needed on the first production winding form, or on the first winding form of each type? Why?
