Subject: Station 3 tooling FDR

 

An FDR for the Station 3 will be conducted on Friday, July 13 at 10:00 am.  PPPL participants will meet in the Engineering Conference Room.  Remote participants can dial in on 866.718.9081 pass code 706670.

 

Ellis, Brooks, Viola, and Cole are asked to serve on the review committee.  I will chair the committee. The charge to the reviewers is as follows:

 

1.    Are the requirements well defined?

2.    Does the design meet the requirements?

3.    Does the analysis adequately underpin the design and have they been checked?

4.    Do the drawings define the design adequately to be used as the sole basis for fabrication and acceptance of the support fixture?

5.    Has safety been adequately addressed in the design of the support fixture?

6.    Can the support fixture be fabricated and installed within the budget and schedule identified in the project baseline?

7.    Have all relevant chits from previous design reviews been adequately addressed?

 

Tom Brown is the cog engineer.  Larry Dudek is the RLM
