Summary

This describes how to connect PowerINSPECT to a CMM using a DEVA 001 card.  Set CMM- Configuration to DEVA 001 Counter Card.

Description

Prerequisites:

CMM fitted with DEVA 001 Counter Card.  A retrofitter will advise whether this solution is appropriate, and whether any additional hardware is required.  (See below for more information)

The DEVA card is supplied with Windows Driver software which must be installed. This process is covered by the excellent documentation which is supplied with the card.

Background information about the Deva card

The Deva 001 is suitable for use with any measuring device which produces Quadrature signals, differential and single ended.  Deva will be able to advise on the type of card required for specific applications.  The card has been used in various applications supporting products from numerous suppliers such as Heidenhein, Stegmann, Renishaw and Gaebridge etc.
