Following our conversation yesterday, Mike and I identified the following task for PPPL:

 

Description:  Modify cross-section of chill plates to give additional length of tab for the tube wrap around.  The lower chill plates currently have a tube wrap that extends 270-deg around the tube (Fig.-1).  The upper or top chill plates have been modified to add additional length, but to avoid merging geometry we extended the tab as shown in Fig-2.  We would like to change the geometry of the lower chill plates to match.  This affects the se142c-388 and -488 generic and instance models.

Method:  

1) Check out the generic (~15-20 ea) and instance models using the Locate function:

 



 

2) Edit Definition for the variable section sweep feature in each generic:

 



 

3) Under Tools, Family Table, verify all instances:

 



 

 

4) Save and check-in generics and instances.
