Reiersen Subject: Draft C to Station 1 Assembly Sequence Plan Attachments: NCSX-Plan_FPA_Station_1_Sequence-00-dC.doc; FPA Assembly Steps-Stage 1- SeqPlan.xls Tom, I have received reasonably minor comments back on your draft Station 1 Assembly Sequence Plan. Here it is back in an excel spreadsheet format as you originally provided. Here are the comments that need resolution before we can send this out for signature: (1) Step 1.0 - need document number or delete this reference. (2) Step 4.0 - Need both ref dwg number and ProE model number. (3) Step 4.1 - Colin Phelps notes that we probably should specify type of marker to be used on the Inconel 625. Some metals will corrode and crack due to adverse interaction with certain types of marking materials. However, this is probably a detail to be included in the detailed procedure and not in these guidelines. (4) Step 5.0 - Need ProE model number. (5) Step 7.0 - Need both ref dwg number and ProE model number. (6) Step 7.5 - Need ProE model number. If same as for Step 7.0, why include here? (7) Step 7.6 - Need both ref dwg number and ProE model number. If same as for Step 7.0, why include here? (8) Step 8.0 - Need both ref dwg number and ProE model number. (9) Step 10.0 - Need ref dwg number. Mike needs this sequence plan finalized before he can start his detailed installation procedure(s) for Station 1. Please advise when you think that this can be in a form that can be signed. The intent is to provide guidance from you, as the designer, to Mike, as the installer, on how you designed the system to be installed. This will probably only be issued once (Rev 0) for each station. Dimensional Control Plan for FPA Station 1 is currently in the sign-off process. Once Mike gets this and the Dimensional Control Plan, he can start the development of procedures, assuming that the necessary assembly drawings are available. Thanks, Bob S.
