VV:
Today we completed testing loops on VV2
Continued VV3 scanning ~98% of the studs are located
MCWF:
Continue modify wedge for A1 - B side down
Pictures attached of superbolt placed over spot faces.
Note potential of super bolt to be pushing on through hole.
JOHN: Wednesday 3/7:
Finish testing loops.
Fabricate clips for voltage loops and thermocouples
Continue VV3 scanning
Modify wedge for A1 - B side down
Bring coil selected by Ellis for vertical and horizontal measurements into MF
UPCOMING
Swap VV1 with VV3 - Install loops and thermocouples on VV1
Mount A1 on wedge
Fit A2 to A1 to determine gross interferences.
Stand selected coil on feet (vertical)
Weld on external fiducials
Measure fiducials and flanges and tooling balls with Leica.
Lay coil flat on wedge and remeasure fiducials and flanges and tooling balls.
Perform scans and install fiducials. Monday
Pull tension on the two threaded insert on A1 and 8 on B2 (B4?) and then repair
NEEDS:
Cooling tube parts – starting to flow in from shop - however
Heater tapes – Briskheat reports will be a 1 week delay Monday March 12 due to vacation
Strykowsky – Boxes and terminal strips for diagnostic coils – George received go ahead from project
Williamson – DXF files of flanges - Have "A" need others
Ellis - provide actual monuments and fiducials locations - COB Thursday
Brooks - provide A1 - A2 actual fit up data - Monday
Perform alignment trials - Next week (Crane utilization conflicts with coil winding.)
Here is what Steve and I think should be done after the gross fitups
This is for proof of principle only likely on the A1 to A2 coils.
(Once we have a joint design and hardware, we would make this the first joint)
Please comment by/for Monday morning meeting

1) Install coil on wedge using exact same thin shim stock all around to space coil off of poloidal break - Edwards
2) Locate fiducials on outside of coil case. - Ellis
3) Weld external fiducials - Edwards
4) Repair existing tooling ball holes (peen) - Edwards
5) Establish stable metrology network around part - Ellis Duco
6) Transfer fiducials locations from previous conical seats to external fiducials (repaired old and new) - Duco
7) Apply Art Brooks transformation - Raftopoulos
8) Provide areas of concern to be measured - Brown
9) Measure areas of concerns - Duco
10) Bring top coil over and align per Brooks coordinates - Edwards
