Attached are my notes from the vendor visit by Hydratight
Sweeney. They really impressed me and I feel they have a wide range
of options that will help us achieve good results with the Modular Coil
Tensioning. Also attached are a manual on the Nitronic Nuts, and a
Brochure on the Ultrasonic Bolt Tensiometer.
We provided them with some drawings of the castings and studs so they can
fit their products into the available space and make
recommendations.
We also need to provide them with the following information to support that
work:
1. Mechancial Properties of our studs, A286
2. Required Tension
3. Casting Mechanical specs and G-11CR Mechanical specs (so they can
determine if it's the limiting factor in the joint design)
