• Coil shape program has been modified to give more control over orientation of I-beam at inner and outer mid-plane. • Conformal shell is being developed, but with difficulty (surfaces are ugly, offsets and cuts do not work well). • Investigating use of a NURBS based surface modeler that would complement Pro/ENGINEER. • Structure modeling is tedious and depends on details of the modular coil set.  Approx 3-4 weeks will be required to prepare a model for loads and stress analysis.
