Phil HUTCH: I KNOW THIS SLIP WILL BE A DISAPPOINTMENT TO YOU, BUT BOB, BRAD, AND FRANK ARE OUT MOST OF NEXT WEEK. FURTHERMORE THE SPEC AND DRAWINGS WILL NOT BE READY NEXT WEEK YET. WE'RE HOPING TO HOLD THE END DATE (CONSIDERING THE STUDY ONLY CONSISTS OF ~300 PERSON-H0URS IT'S DOABLE), BUT WILL NEGOTIATE EXTENSIONS IF NEEDED. Monday, 10/29 3-5 pm:: We did meet to discuss evaluation method and general selection strategy. Friday, 11/2 1:30-4:30 PM : Meet to discuss our individual evaluations of proposals received to date (Hitachi, Mitsubishi, Ansaldo, Major Tool, APEC, American Exchanger, BWXT-Y12). PREPARE A LIST OF CLARIFICATION QUESTIONS FOR THE FIRST GROUP OF PROPOSALS. ALSO ON 11/2: Receive proposals given extensions (Osterby, Atlas Foundry) NOTE: The first group of proposals were Fed Exed to Brad. We will FedEx the second group to his house as soon as they are received (Brad-please e-mail me your home address). Wednesday, 11/7 2:30-4:30 . Wayne and Phil will have a conference call with Brad to develop a list of clarification questions for the proposals delivered on 11/2. Tusday, 11/13: 10-12 am: Entire group meets to discuss individual evaluation scores and arrive at award recommendations. Thursday, 11/15: Subcontract winners are notified. Specification and drawings which will drive the studies will be posted on the web.
