1. FY-03 Work Planning and Authorization (Ron)


Substantial progress has been made in iterating the WAF's.
They will be issued to the job managers for signoff this week.
First round of statusing meetings is scheduled for Nov. 6-7.


2. Coil Design process (Mike)
Several promising designs have been developed but none of the recent ones has completed the healing process. A decision on an updated coil design is urgently needed. ACTION: Mike and Hutch.

3. Design Issues (Wayne, Brad)
* Assembly interference. Tilting the vacuum vessel joint by ~60 degrees is a solution. Modifying the winding surface does not look like an attractive solution.


4. Next IPT Meeting with DOE: Tues., Nov. 5 at 11:00.
ACTION: Bob develop agenda and issue announcement. All: agenda suggestions to Bob.


5. Next NCSX PAC Meeting: Dec. 9-10.
Planning outline was issued Oct. 28. Feedback to Hutch.


6. Project calendar for the rest of the year (Wayne)
Nov. 1 at 1:30. Peer review of QA Plan.
Nov. 6 at 1:30. WAF status for WBS 1.
Nov. 7 at 9:00. WAF status for WBS 2-8.
