PPPL will call ORNL at the engr conf. room (865-241-1255) and we will share information via netmeeting. The agenda for the meeting is: 1. Composite cable/epoxy test matrix - Chrzanowski/Zatz - what is needed - what are the results from CTD - what is missing Special attention should be given to CTE and thermal conductivity. 2. Progress incorporating E04 and modeling of the wings - Williamson 3. UT coil test results so far, especially re the resistance and "G" function (versus predictions). - Nelson 4. Plans for "new money" at ORNL - Nelson Do the plans include: - support for field period assembly? - Design of the racetrack coil? 5. Visit to New England Wire. - Chrzanowski In particular, what do they think of producing a cable conductor with a Cerabend-filled copper tube? 6. Room temperature operation and long pulse, low field operation. - Reiersen 7. General discussion of issues related to new proposals for winding and cooling modular coils, and how we should reach a decision to change the baseline design. - All If anyone has additional issues, please bring them up at the meeting. This is a long agenda, and the speakers are encouraged to summarize / compress their remarks as much as possible.
