Please set up a meeting this week to review progress on the seismic requirements and analysis. There are 3 areas we should follow up on:

1. Seismic requirements – Kalish will provide a prescriptive set of seismic requirements for the stellarator core structures located in the NCSX Test Cell based on IBC2000. This will provide the input that Titus needs for load conditions AND design (success) criteria.

2. Global modeling – Titus will complete modeling of the stellarator core, adding conventional (TF/PF) coils, coil structures, cryostat, and base support structure.

3. Modeling of the NCSX test cell – Dahlgren will review Chang Jun’s ANSYS model of the building steel and determine if that might be of value in defining a response spectrum at the test cell floor.
