Summary of NCSX System Integration Team (SIT) Meeting of Monday, May 2, 2005

1.    Modular Coil Winding Plans  (Wayne)

• A detailed checklist has been prepared to track preparations for starting to wind the modular coils. Schedule, issues, and deliverables are identified. The checklist will be maintained and tracked at weekly meetings. An up-to-date copy is posted at http://ncsx.pppl.gov/NCSX_Engineering/Management/Checklists.xls.
• A similar plan for the TF coil design closeout is posted in the same place.
  

2.    Project Control (Hutch, Ron)

• The re-baseline review on April 25 went well.  However, an internal DOE ESAAB must be convened to approve the baseline change, and the schedule for completing that process is currently unclear.
• We will align our near-term work plans with the new stretched-out schedule, and adjust the near-term performance measurement baseline (PMB) accordingly. An ECP is being prepared to make some zero-net-cost budget adjustments in the PMB.  A CCB meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, May 4, to consider that ECP (ECP-031).  The intent is to measure April performance against the ECP-031 baseline.
• The April job status meeting is planned for Friday, May 6 at 8:30 a.m.
  

3.    Summer Schedule

• A vacation schedule will be compiled.
