• Fogarty’s drawing of the lugs and the clamp that supports the twisted hex-bundle off the MC shell appears to be a reasonable basis for costing purposes.
• Scope of the MIE project:
  
  • Design of the full upgrade system
  • Implementation of all leads from the terminals to an accessible point outside the MC shell.
  • From that point to the outside world, implement only what is required for the CD-4 configuration.
    
• P. Goranson is the job manager, responsible for generating the estimate for the ETC update.  Initial input is due April 2.
• P. Fogarty will provide design support.
  

• Goranson’s drawing appears to be headed in the right direction. A schematic is needed that shows the parts count and shows where the hard tubing ends and flexible stainless hose begins. Requested modifications:
  
  • System is closed loop.
  • No flow meters.
  • Consider using an orifice solution instead of flow control valves.
  • Consider one header per half period.
