This Office of Science (SC) Review of the NCSX Project was conducted on September 1, 2004, at DOE's Germantown site. It was organized by the SC Construction Management Support Division, responding to a charge from the Office of Fusion Energy Sciences. The purpose of this informal review was for SC to assess the project's readiness for Critical Decision 3 (CD-3), Approve Start of Fabrication.

The committee concluded that the project was ready for CD-3.
