Summary of Results
|
This review was called prior to
the release of the design package to the coil winding form manufacturing
development subcontractor. The purpose of the review was to address
the poloidal break (flagged as an issue at the PAC meeting), the copper
cladding (a source of considerable expense and technical uncertainty in the
subcontractor proposal responses), and tolerances (ditto).
Recommendations on how these issues are to be addressed were presented at
the peer review. The schedule for the coil development and delivery
was also discussed.
Ten (10) Chits were generated
from this review. The chits were dispositioned following the review
and copies are attached. Once these chits are resolved and prior to
the release of the drawing package to the subcontractor a subgroup of this
review will be reconvened to review the final drawings.
