Summary of Results
|
A PDR of the Assembly
Station 5 was successfully presented by Tom Brown. A review of the
requirements as well as detail description of the support structure
components was presented. The fixture drawings are nearly
complete, and the analysis of the loads and deflections was available. A
number of chits were generated recommending some improvement to the
design including additional outriggers and increasing the design safety
factor to five since personnel will be inside or under the structure
during various elements of the Station 5 activities. Overall the
review was deemed successful by the review committee pending resolution
of the chits generated. |
